DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Season 1: 15 WTF Moments From 'Pilot, Part 1'

14. Going Against Orders

For those familiar with the comic book Rip Hunter, they€™ll be well aware that he€™s very much one of those characters who can be described as a loveable rogue. His heart is always in the right place, but he maybe doesn€™t always do things by the book. To give newcomers an idea of Rip€™s ideals, we see straight away that he is prepared to go against official orders in order to do what he believes is right and is his moral duty. Having approached the Time Masters Council about letting him alter the timeline by stopping Vandal Savage and the chaos he€™s caused, Hunter is shot down. Regardless, he proceeds to take the Waverider ship and set about stopping Savage, firmly sticking it to €˜the man€™ from the show€™s opening moments.
