DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Season 1: 6 Ups And 6 Downs From 'The Magnificent Eight
1. Jonah Hex
Forget that doomed and horrendous Jonah Hex movie from 2010, for the legendary gunslinger was given the correct treatment here.
Played brilliantly by a grizzled, dust-chewing Jonathon Schaech, this was a depiction and portrayal of a comic book character so special to so many that actually did the source material proud. It may have only been a one-shot deal so far (although here’s hoping we somehow see more of Jonah in the future), but the use of Jonah Hex here was fantastically done.
A knowledgeable, no BS sort who was perfectly clear on the bigger picture, Hex was a great addition to the series and his appearance will likely stand out as season highlight to many a comic book fan.
Having seen a truly special appearance from an old Oliver Queen, not to mention the return of Matt Nable’s Ra’s al Ghul, the use of Jonah Hex was one that paid off regardless of the episode itself maybe being a little so-so, and this is certainly something that will live long in the memory of many a fanboy.
