Doctor Who: 10 Great Actors Who Need To Play Villains

5. Ramin Karimloo (On Screen Or Voice)

For those of you saying €œWho is this person?€ Don€™t worry, I was expecting that response. Being a theatre fan, I had to bring a few theatre people into this list, in hopes that the actors that I love will one day be recognised on a huge, international television show. Ramin Karimloo is a huge name if anyone knows theatre, especially the West End. He€™s played a large amount of iconic roles on the West End, including Raoul and the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera €“ and also appeared in the movie as Christine€™s father €“ as well as playing many of the boys at the barricade in Les Miserables, as well as Jean Valjean, which he€™s played on the West End, in Toronto, and will be playing on Broadway this season. Now that I€™ve given you a brief look at his acting credits, and while I€™ve said this about many people on this list, Ramin Karimloo has a wonderful voice for a villain. In fact, having had to bring something to the role of Phantom €“ being the youngest person to play the role €“ he€™s wonderful at making the audience fall in love with a character and be terrified of him at the exact same time. I believe that€™s a wonderful quality in a villain, and it is something that Karimloo has a knack for. Even though he may not have the gigantic following that other actors have on this list, he€™s more than capable of being on Doctor Who, and on a list with these actors€™. Karimloo could more than pull his own weight in a fight against Capaldi.

I'm currently attending my local college while trying to figure out who I am. I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, really any BBC show. I've also been told I'm a bit of a nerd. Specifically, a theatre nerd.
