8. The Wonders Of The Solar System
He's already managed to fill us all with amazement at the sheer scope of the universe and our place within it in his previous TV appearances in ' Wonders Of The Solar System', so it seems only logical to give him the key to the TARDIS and let him wander a little. The very question of where he would take himself off to or be summoned is an interesting one- after all our galaxy is rather big in case you hadn't noticed. He's probably discovered a mind-boggling array of new planets we don't even know about yet with a couple of cursory glances into his telescope, and his delight at showing us and his companions around might prove near fatal in a syrupy-sweet kind of way. Plus as a man of science what he would make of corners like the Land Of Fiction an interesting question indeed. Would he attempt to apply reason to a land where normal laws don't apply or simply stick his fingers in his ears and simply state ' this isn't possible', forgetting that in the Whoniverse anything is? If anyone's going to star in a sort of sequel to ' The Mind Robber', then, it's the good Professor, you'd think. And with that hair there's scope for him to be mistaken for his Second self by anyone who remembers his first visit. Possibly a quick blast of ' Things Can Only Get Better' on recorder, too, though that might be asking a bit much.
