Doctor Who: 10 Ways To Improve The Show

5. Bring Back Wilf, Craig, Rory's Dad And Captain Jack

Doctor Who Wilf As I've established, I've my favorite characters and have already discussed a show to check up on them in point nine, but there are others that never got the air time they deserved €“ Wilf, Craig and Rory's dad. This trio are my favourite sporadic companions, and I'd love to see any of them step up to a regular role, maybe for Time Lady Helen Mirren. That would lend a whole new avenue to explore with the characters, and each of them are innately funny. And, I want Wilf to get out there and explore everywhere he imagined while looking through his telescope €“ all he got to see was Earth from a clunky, rusty spaceship, a bit boring compared to everything we know is out there in Doctor Who world. Helen Mirren and Bernard Cribbins in her own version of the Tardis €“ it turns out there was one left, which fell out of the void when summoned by her, and now they can travel the stars. Personally, I don't see how that couldn't be brilliant. A special mention for Captain Jack; I know he lives on in the Torchwood reboot, but it's so Americanized now. It's ironic given the fact that Jack is American, but he's lost the humor that he had when playing with the Doctor. I would love to see more of the flirty, fun, devil-may-care Jack, who's out for himself and less concerned with saving the world. It always good to have old friends around to remind us of who we truly are and with whom to go adventuring.
