Ok, yes, the Doctor is the hero of the show, but come on. He's had so many moments of serious ham. Sylvester McCoy's shouting in "Battlefield", Pertwee engaging in a roughly 90 minute chase sequence using every form of vehicle known to man, and Smith...well, pretty much any time he was on screen. But the ones who really take the cake are the fabulous Baker boys, Tom and Colin. There wasn't a scene either one couldn't steal, or scenery either one couldn't chew. Consider Tom acting as the face of evil in the story, "The Face of Evil". Or his last few moments in the Key to Time series where he finally assembled the key and realized how much power he had at his disposal. For Colin, look at...well, just about any episode, really. The guy has plenty of charm and wit on screen and in audio, but, man, does he ever ham it up. The infamous scene in "Vegeance on Varos", where he quips after a man falls into an acid bath comes to mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R21xaP4RD9k
