Doctor Who: 8 Aspects Of Peter Capaldi's Costume Analysed

3. The Trousers

After the somewhat hipster Matt Smith, we can thank the household gods that the next Doctor isn't wearing his trousers halfway down his legs like a rapper. Of course, that was never going to happen with Peter Capaldi though, was it? Whether he's opting for a belt or braces to hold them up, we're not sure; at least they're a good level on his waist though. They're not as short as Eleven's trousers, but they are rolled up, and they're slightly baggier than we've seen from the past two Doctors; this is not a Time Lord who will be wearing skinny jeans any time soon. They look like they're woolen, which will keep him warm while filming during this cold winter, but are the pockets bigger on the inside? Maybe we'll find out soon...
