Doctor Who: 10 Amazing TV Show Crossovers Fans Want To See
7. Broadchurch/Gracepoint
It wouldn’t really matter whether it was the hit UK version – Broadchurch - or the not-so-popular US remake – Gracepoint – it would be golden just to see Peter Capaldi look into the eyes of David Tennant with a look that says “I’m sure I recognise you from somewhere”. This would be one of The Doctor’s more sombre outings. Neither Broadchurch nor Gracepoint were known for their witty one liners, or their light-hearted characters. The Doctor would likely be solemn - befitting the tone of the show - and determined to find out just who killed Danny.
The fiery lead detective – played by Tennant – would try to force, what he sees ass some kind of amateur sleuth to leave the case to the professionals. This Time-Lord, however, is not so easily detered! Of course, should The Doctor find himself a part of Series two of Broadchurch – not to rub in the fact that Gracepoint was never given a second season – he would also be surrounded by a host of familiar faces from his past.
The Reverend related to Mr. Pond, the protected witness who had relatives working for Torchwood, the reporter who he would be sure helped him rob the world’s most secure bank and let’s not forget the Police Officer whose form was Stolen by Prisoner Zero – Broadchurch could well turn out to be more of a party than anyone could have imagined.
