Doctor Who: 10 Characters Ready For A Spin-Off

4. The Daleks

50 Daleks Really, we spend all our time demonizing the Daleks, but does any one bother to see things from their point of view? Maybe they have legitimate reasons for wanting to take over the universe. And sure, we can judge them -- after all, the only Daleks we see are the soldiers. Maybe somewhere deep in the universe, there are Daleks just going about their daily lives, trying to survive as best they can. Sure, they toe the party line of extermination and world domination, but those are just words to the average working class Dalek, aren't they? I'm just going to say it: Dalek sitcom. Hear me out on this one. It's a terrible idea. But I want it anyway. Some of my favorite Dalek-y moments are when they're doing that sort of scheming in-fighting that network television thrives on. It's fun to hear the Daleks in the context of a science fiction show, but I have a feeling it'd be even better to hear them discussing the ins and outs of everyday life. I'm imagining a Dalek version of Seinfeld. Maybe one episode involves a Dalek going to the grocery store, and the person in front of him in the express checkout line has one item more than they're supposed to. Look me in the eyestalk and tell me this isn't a recipe for comedy gold.
