5. The Dark Eccentric
So this is the second outfit in this list mentioning Colin Baker. Maybe I'll go for a hat-trick? Anyway. When Colin Baker was chosen to play the Sixth Doctor he requested a darker costume to reflect the dark side of the Doctor he really wanted to bring out in his performance. We all know that Baker didn't get what he wanted in an outfit - it was practically the opposite - but perhaps now that we're getting a darker Doctor we'll get a dark costume. Baker said he wanted something similar to the outfit Eccleston eventually wore but I doubt we'd get a repeat of Nine's costume. Perhaps we'll get something more like Six's outfit, but black and dark greys in colour. An outfit like the one above would show off perfectly the eccentricity as well as the darker nature of Capaldi's Doctor.
