Doctor Who: 10 Reasons Series 9 Will Be The Best Yet
4. Popular Writers, Such As Toby Whithouse And Peter Harness, Are Returning
Hurrah! It's been confirmed that fan favourite Toby Whithouse, who has previously penned such delights as School Reunion and The God Complex, has put pen to paper for a terrifying two-parter (Episodes 3 & 4) and he isn't the only familiar face who'll be back to lend his creativity for Series 9. Jamie Mathieson has also returned for Episode 5 (a period adventure called The Girl Who Died), while Mark Gatiss has contributed his "scariest episode yet" which, after traumatising a generation with the likes of gas dwelling zombies and life size dolls, suggests it'll be pretty damned scary indeed. Let's not forget Peter Harness, of course, whose Doctor Who debut, Kill the Moon, was met with so much acclaim that fans weren't surprised at all to find out that he'd been reenlisted for Series 9. Can't wait!
