5. So That We Can Find Out More About The Time War master The Master may have run away from the Time War but we can be certain that he was there in the early days of the War. Also, if he is stuck on Gallifrey at the moment, he will learn more about the Time War which he could inform us about if he were to return. If The Master returned for the 50th anniversary special, he could take the viewers and The Doctor back to Gallifrey in the lead up to the war in a similar fashion to what happened in The Five Doctors. The Masters chronology is so interlinked with the Time War that if he did return, it would certainly be connected with the Time War which would mean we would find out more than ever before.
