Series 1's Dalek story was adapted from the audio drama Jubilee. One of the scenes that was cut featured a group of Daleks finding a group of imitation Daleks, which are metal shells with midgets in them to entertain the president of Britain. These imitation Daleks have a very simple task, to sing: We are the Daleks and this is our song! Were very naughty and we like to do wrong! Seriously. Then the Daleks utter their best kill line ever: Exterminate! Daleks do not sing!. Thats the best way to figure out if youre facing real Daleks or not. Sing a verse of Kumbaya and if they join in, dont worry. Its just midgets.
