8. He Once Came Fourth On Dancing On Ice
A man of many talents, John proved just what he can do with a pair of skates (if there was even any doubt on the matter) when he appeared in the first ever series of the ITV talent show Dancing on Ice back in 2006. He ended up finishing in fourth place which isn't too shabby but, clearly not one to settle for second best, he later appeared on the Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing where he was voted king of the ballroom for his quickstep.
