Doctor Who: 10 Things You Never Knew About Series 3 Of NuWho

8. Declaration Of Independence

The Doctor has been travelling through time and space for centuries and throughout his ventures he's quite literally seen and done it all... and then some. He is often name dropping his past liaisons and bigging up his involvement in history's most notorious events and in The Lazarus Experiment he made a passing comment about another one. Well, before it got cut, that is. Originally, though, the Time Lord revealed that he had participated in the writing of the United States Declaration of Independence, a first draft of which he keeps folded up in the pocket of his dinner jacket... just 'cause! The scene ultimately ended up on the cutting room floor for time purposes but it was included as an extra on the Series 3 boxset. Oh, Doctor. What will he come out with next?
