Doctor Who: 10 Things You Never Realised About Series 8

5. Check Out Lucky Morgue Door #2

Now, this could be a coincidence, but Death in Heaven's morgue scene involves banging on the door where a dead body is supposed to stored. That door's number is 2, the same number on the door the Eighth Doctor pushes through in his debut. Both the Eighth Doctor's TV film and Death in Heaven play with Frankenstein motifs, though the film does it a more heavy-handed way. Bodies rise again after death, and the Master wants to use bodies that are not his/her own as part of a dastardly plan. Rebirth and its repercussions are a common theme on the show, and using the same number on the doors is a nice nod to that history. Which brings us to the Doctor's historical serials. Next up €
