Doctor Who: 20 Faces That Epitomise The Eleventh Doctor

8. The Doctor's Wife

The Doctor's Wife was an emotional rollercoaster for our titular hero. He went from believing there was another Time Lord out there to meeting a personification of his beloved TARDIS so surely he can be forgiven for pulling a few faces that were somewhat more peculiar than usual? It had been a long day, after all. This sums him up to a tee, though, because he was just so mad, wasn't he? In the best possible way, of course. Matt excelled in the art of psychical comedy and it's an attribute that he executed perfectly throughout his time as the Doctor. Just when you were starting to forget that you were actually watching a 900 year old alien from the planet Gallifrey, he'd slap himself in face or do something just as outlandishly bizarre to remind you that he still was that bumbling Time Lord from outer space that the world knows and loves. Ahem to that.
