7. The Lodger
Well, this one speaks for itself, doesn't it? The Eleventh Doctor took on a whole new world in Series 5's The Lodger when he shacked up with James Corden as Craig Owens to investigate the mystery of the man upstairs. All he had to do was act like an ordinary bloke for a while and for him that seemingly involved playing football (and he's surprising good at it, as it turns out - who knew?), slipping over in the shower and canoodling with an electric toothbrush. What could possibly go wrong? Well, quite a bit, actually, and this picture epitomises his incarnation because he tried so hard to be normal but it's just one thing he most certainly was not. It'll please a certain demographic that he's naked in it, too, which is something else the Eleventh Doctor was partial to (much to the disdain of Clara Oswald in The Time of the Doctor, of course, who couldn't run away fast enough when she walked in on the Doctor in the buff). In the end he didn't even need a suit because just his birthday one sufficed. Talk about letting it all hang out...
