9. The Crimson Horror
Tanning bed gone wrong? Thankfully no, but the Eleventh Doctor was left feeling a little red in the face back in Series 7 when he encountered Mrs Gillyflower and her Sweetville mill in The Crimson Horror. This epitomises his incarnation because he even managed to pull this look off which is no mean feat when he looks like, well... that. This Doctor was always getting himself into all sorts of sticky situations (aren't they all?) but they weren't usually as colourful. You probably even had to change the saturation settings on your TV at one point.
