3. Human Resources (Eighth Doctor Adventures, 2007)
The previous item on this list started the first season of the EDA, this story ends it. Its a two-part story with the Cybermen, and given the title, you can guess what their plans involve. Its a big, convoluted, 90 minute long festival of good storytelling. You get progression with Lucies arc, you get to learn a few things about the Headhunter (a woman who has been following the Doctor and Lucie through time), and you get the Cybermen, which are far more menacing in your imagination than they ever are on TV. While most of these stories are pretty stand-alone, with this one, I really do recommend listening to at least Blood of the Daleks. If you dont, youll likely be very lost. Or, alternatively, you can just shell out a few bucks and hear the entirety of season one!
