The second villain return of the list is the Cybermen. More specifically, Ashad: the Lone Cyberman!

The Cybermen last (properly) appeared in the two-part Series 12 finale, where the Lone Cyberman was revitalising the Cyber army, reawakening in a gorgeous new design. Ashad was one of the strongest elements of Series 12, before going out like a chump.

In this finale, Ashad was reduced to basically nothing by the Master's tissue compression eliminator, and exploded along with the Death Particle on Gallifrey. Does his return maybe alter the fate of this moment, possibly hinting towards the Gallifrey theory from the last entry? Who knows.

On the topic of the Series 12 finale, the last time we saw Cybermen in general, they became the 'Cyber-Lords', so what happened to them after we're still in the dark over. Maybe we'll get answers.

The trailer shows Ashad and the Cybermen on Earth, most likely at UNIT when connecting clips together, resulting in Kate Stewart being taken away as mentioned. Will we see another Cyber V Dalek confrontation? Or are these two foes on separate schemes and locations? We'll see.

Whilst right now it maybe doesn't make sense, to have this Lone bad boy back is definitely a good thing!
