Doctor Who Cast Adds Upstairs, Downstairs & Farscape Actors

Adrian Scarborough and Ben Browder join the currently filming seventh series of Doctor Who.

Upstairs, Downstairs star Adrian Scarborough is the latest actor to be signed up for the new series of Doctor Who. The actor, who has also appeared in Gavin and Stacey, Psychoville and the Oscar winning film The King€™s Speech, will star in an episode directed by Saul Metzstein as a character called Kahler Jex. There are currently no other details on exactly what the story will revolve around or what role Scarborough€™s character will play in it. He joins an ever growing list of stars to appear in the latest series, which recently began filming in South Wales, including Rupert Graves, Mark Williams and David Bradley. Another new name to be added to the list is Farscape€™s Ben Browder, who is reported to be appearing as Toby Whithouse, Wild West set episode. Browder plays John Crichton in Farscape, so is no stranger to Sci-fi and fantasy as his credits also include a more recent role in Stargate SG-1. The seventh series of Doctor Who kicks off on the BBC in the autumn.
