Doctor Who Flux: 8 Bold Predictions For The Rest Of Series 13

Time to crack out the tin foil hats again folks! This is definitely an outlandish take, but it's also way too interesting to not mention, so let's talk about it.

We first met Claire in The Halloween Apocalypse, and from her very first moment onscreen, she was set up as a "mystery box" character. Whenever a character like this is introduced in Doctor Who, fans are always going to speculate that they're someone we already know, and in this case, that someone might be Clara.

But... how? Well, when Clara jumped into the Doctor's timestream in The Name Of The Doctor, she scattered herself throughout his life - past, present, and (presumably) future. So, what if Claire is one of these "echos" - a version of Clara lost in the Doctor's timeline?

We know that Clara's echos all look slightly different, so it's not a massive leap to assume that one of them could look more different than the rest. Even then, Claire and Clara look kinda similar, and they also have similar names.

Oh, and Claire also spoke the line "I was just taking the long way home", which is almost word-for-word Clara's final line in Hell Bent.

Again, it's pretty outlandish, but just imagine how much the internet would melt if the next episode opens with Claire making a soufflé.
