Doctor Who The Pilot Easter Eggs
BBC

By now it's clear the Doctor's university office is a cornucopia of easter eggs. As well as the photos and the Sonics, there are various items spread around the room that callback to a few of the Doctor's famous friends throughout history.

In front of one window in the office is a bust of Ludwig van Beethoven. This is the same bust that was previously seen in the memorable fourth-wall-breaking opening scene to 2015's Before The Flood, in which the Doctor explains the Bootstrap Paradox to the audience by using an example about Beethoven.

Likewise, there is also a bust of William Shakespeare against another window. The Doctor previously met the Bard in 2007's The Shakespeare Code.

Finally, Robin Hood appears in a stained glass window. The Doctor used to think the Prince of Thieves was a myth but found out he actually existed in 2014's Robot of Sherwood.
