Doctor Who Series 11: 4 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Kerblam!'
1. Lee Mack's Glorified Cameo
This is one of the points where things went a little pear-shaped. Not specifically because of Lee Mack himself or for his performance, but because, similar to Astos in The Tsuranga Conundrum, he’s killed off a little too early, with his death coming just 17-minutes in. Bear in mind, he’s only on screen for about five of those minutes. It’s great seeing comedians getting roles in Doctor Who - who could forget Lee Evans as Malcolm in Planet Of The Dead?
I wanted more Lee Mack because his character looked really interesting, but since he mentioned the keepsake from his daughter he barely sees, and he willingly goes to the triple-nines, we knew he was as good as dead. It’s a shame, I wanted to see him more in action. See his character develop further but- nope. Now he’s goop with an ankle bracelet in it. Lovely.
