Doctor Who Series 9: Every Single Episode Previewed

10. Episode 3

Written by: Toby Whithouse Directed by: Daniel O'Hara Guest starring: Paul Kaye, Morven Christie, Arsher Ali, Colin McFarlane, Sophie Stone, Zaqi Ismail, Steven Robertson and Neil Fingleton From one two-parter to another! Episodes 3 and 4 were the first to be filmed when production commenced on Series 9 back in January. Not much is known about this particular story at present, other than the fact that it will be one of the Doctor and Clara's most terrifying adventures yet. Or "brilliantly creepy", to use Steven Moffat's exact words. And prepare to get even more excited, because it's been written by fan favourite Toby Whithouse who is finally returning to the fold after contributing such modern classics as School Reunion, The Vampires of Venice and A Town Called Mercy. Not that his résumé isn't reputable enough already to be entrusted with his first Doctor Who two-parter, but he also created the hit BBC Three series Being Human so he's definitely paid his dramatic dues. His Series 9 episodes have been directed by Daniel O'Hara, who has also worked on Being Human, so it looks like he's sticking to what and who he knows. Is the Doctor about to take on a werewolf? Hell, it wouldn't be the first time.
