4. Fleabag Repeatedly Beats Out Emmy Royalty

The biggest winner of the night was one plenty of people wanted, but one nobody really expected to see sweep each category. Fleabag - as mentioned in the opening - delivered its second and final season earlier this year, and it merely being recognised at the Emmys was considered a major win for the little show that could.

However, Phoebe Waller-Bridge's opus went on to win the most awards of the entire evening, winning four of the six categories it was nominated for. Sadly neither Olivia Coleman or Sian Clifford managed to best Alex Borstein in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, but Fleabag still won the night.
