Every Episode Of The Witcher Ranked Worst To Best
1. Much More
If the first episode showed how strong the commitment was, then this climax utterly followed the same path. Much More is an unbelievably strong ending for a TV show, and, shockingly, it's only the first season culmination. Modern viewers truly are spoiled with our content nowadays as this chapter proves.
This episode shows us the Sorceresses and an assortment of fighters battling to hold back the forces of Nilfgaard in Sodden, and the outing primarily acts as an hour-long battle between magic users and soldiers. The creative use of magic and spells on display simultaneously present a fun battle and reveal how much damage the Sorceresses are capable of.
However, more from just the incredible spectacle, there is a heartfelt narrative at the centre of this episode regarding Geralt's youth and search for his child of surprise Ciri. You get to meet his mother and come to understand how he became a Witcher, and the reveal is utterly heart-breaking.
This combination of the action-packed segments and the emotional gut-punch of the quieter moments all culminate in a chill-inducing ending that makes this episode the best of the set.
We can only hope that the series continues its upward trajectory from here.
