Every Harry Potter Reference In The Simpsons Ranked
3. J.K. Rowling Herself
There are so many episodes in which the Simpsons leave Springfield for another part of the world. In season 15, the family followed Grandpa to England, chasing a long lost love from the war, and met all kinds of celebrities from this side of the pond.
They were welcomed at the airport by Tony Blair, they wished Sir Ian McKellen good luck before his performance in Macbeth, they stopped by Judy Dench's Fish and Chips, and of course, they hit the Queen's royal carriage. Incredibly, the Simpsons also just so happened to bump into J.K. Rowling on the streets of London.
At the time of the episode, The Half Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows were yet to be published, and Lisa couldn't pass up the opportunity to ask the author how the story ends. It would appear that the boy who lived grows up and marries Lisa - exactly what she wanted to hear.
