Another of ABC's new sitcoms, The Kids Are Alright stars The Walking Dead's Michael Cudlitz and In Plain Sight's Mary McCormack as a working-class couple in the 1970s.

Taking place just outside of Los Angeles, it'll follow Irish-Catholic family the Clearys as they attempt to navigate changes minor and major in one of America's most turbulent decades. Sitcom veteran Tim Doyle has created the series, and will serve as showrunner.

35. Schooled

The Goldbergs is getting its own spin-off with Schooled, which will take the story forward to the 1990s and focus on the teachers at William Penn Academy.

ABC originally passed on this last year but have since decided to give it a midseason shot, with Tim Meadows and Bryan Callen reprising their roles.
