Every Star Trek Reference, Easter Eggs & Jokes In The Simpsons

In the episode titled Lisa's Wedding, there are three Star Trek references made throughout.

First off, the wrist communicators that are used make the exact sound that the communicators make in Star Trek: The Original Series, as was demonstrated by Lisa's future husband, Hugh Parkfield. Furthermore, the outfit that's worn by Troy McClure, who's part of a Springfield Elementary School presentation on Addition and Subtraction, presented by Pepsi, is identical to the uniforms on the same Star Trek series.

Finally, if you look and listen closely enough, you'll notice that the nuclear plant has changed to make it look and sound just like the Enterprise.

Keep in mind, this episode is one of those 'in the future' episodes, hence why Lisa is getting hitched, and so who knows, maybe this is what awaits for Springfield in the future. Even if, you know, the characters never actually age.
