While one of the season's more mediocre episodes, there is a funny but brief Star Trek gag to make note of.

The Comic Book Guy is spotted during the episde buying three Leonard Nimoy books; I Am Spock, I Am Not Spock, and I Am Also Scotty, the third of which is, of course, a completely fictional book.

I Am Not Spock, released in 1975, was controversial as fans believed this was Nimoy distancing himself from the Spock character, whereas I Am Spock, released in 1995, received more generous views as Nimoy took a completely different turn when writing the book.
