7. Brian Blessed
The legend that is Brian Blessed, renowned for roles such as Prince Vultan in Flash Gordon and Richard IV in the first series of The Black Adder, graces Family Guy in season 7. The actor turns up in the episode "Road to Germany" and reprises the role as Prince Vultan when Stewie and Brian travel back in time to rescue Mort, who has stepped into a time machine thinking it was a bathroom. There, they must battle the Germans in Nazi-occupied Poland, and, after joining the Royal Air Force, participate in a dogfight against the Luftwaffe. The scene where the Hawk Men defeat the Nazi air force is a parody of the film Flash Gordon.
