Family Guy: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best (So Far)

2. Season 5

Family Guy
Fox

In the episode, No Meals on Wheels, Peter bans Joe and his handicapped friends from his new restaurant because he's too cheap to build ramps. This story concludes with Peter being attacked with a makeshift robot made of handicapped people, forcing him to admit he was wrong to shun Joe. This story perfectly encapsulates Family Guy's humour - ludicrous, offensive, and yet, hysterical. And Season 5 is filled with outrageous storylines like this.

Because it tackles issues like the alienation of private schools, governmental corruption, and misconstruing sexual harassment, it feels like the creative team behind this season have a heavy opinion on social issues. But since Family Guy is a comedy above all else, the writers inject a ton of crude humour to make it as funny and scandalous as possible.
