Instead of bringing characters from the original show, Fear The Walking Dead could introduce ones who will then go on to appear in the main series. One rumoured to appear is Negan, who fans have been longing to see for some time now. Negan is a villain from the graphic novels, and considered one of the best and most dangerous characters. Hes the leader of a band of mercenaries called The Saviors, and is known as much for his excessive use of profanities and twisted humour, as he is extreme violence - usually involving a barbed-wire-wrapped baseball bat. The producers of The Walking Dead have already confirmed well see him at some point, but as yet havent given any timescale on that. There has been some foreshadowing in season 5, most notably Glen picking up the baseball bat, which suggests he could be along sooner rather than later. Some have taken that, along with comments that FTWD will be more terrifying and dangerous than anything weve seen before, to believe Negan could be introduced in that show before heading East to meet Rick and co. While itd certainly boost the profile of the spin-off, and give fans what theyre wanting sooner, its worth considering whether the creators would really want to have his introduction on what is - at this stage at least - the secondary show, as it may lessen his eventual arrival on the main one.
