2. Be Bold, Be Brutal
People will wrongly look at Fear as a form of 'The Walking Dead Lite'. Therefore, it's up to the creators to prove those doubters wrong with some truly harrowing scenes that will create a sense of genuine terror.
That's not intended to sound entirely bloodthirsty but the zombie apocalypse and conclusion of life as we know it IS a terrifying subject. Fear should do as its name suggests and startle the audience with some real horror.
No character should be safe, no location should guarantee safety, no situation should be under pressure to produce a happy ending. People will sit up and take notice of Fear if it really pushes the limits of what is allowed to be shown on TV.
