1. Major Death At A Shocking Time
Travis, eaten alive, Episode 5. Alicia, shot in the head, Episode 8. Maddie, drowned, Episode 3. Any of those three moments would be seriously shocking but that's the sort of specific deaths this show needs.
Just two relatively minor characters departed in Season 1, but with a little more development, fans will finally become attached to the stars of the show, making it the perfect time to wipe one of them out.
However, to really mix things up, a major death should take place in a random episode, not held back for the mid-season or the finale. The idea of lazily killing a star in a prime episode is growing stale, and while it can still work, the impact would be far greater when the audience least expect it.
