3.The Animators Became Under Funded And Lazy

Futurama was known for its new and revolutionary 3D animation, and yet when it came to the 100th episode The Mutants Are Revolting, where, in the party sequence, a chance to show off every character possible is reduced to using simple and recognisable character cut outs flashed around in contrasting colours, sure the episodes are produced under huge time constraints and all the effort probably went on the rest of the show, but Futurama's animation should always be held up as a consistently strong body of work and this ruins that level of pride the original series deserves. It was always the little details here and there that made Futurama interesting and rewatchable; Robots celebrating St. Asimov's day; the wide variety of activities available to slaves on Osiris 4, the unusual adverts dotted around New New York City, and the wild third political parties available. The best the new seasons have managed is reruns of Everybody Loves Hypnotoad, which ironically, no, coincidentally also dropped in quality after its fourth season.
