Game Of Thrones: 10 Biggest Casting Mistakes

10. Robert Pugh As Craster

Why It Was A Mistake: Robert Pugh gave a not-too-shabby performance as the utterly despicable and daughter-loving Craster. The thing is, not to diss Pugh's decent take on the character, TV-Craster is a somewhat inaccurate portrayal of his far creepier novel counterpart. In the novels, Craster is meant to be a withered old man who spent his whole life in the cold north, was father to 19 daughters/wives, and was on the brink of joining Game of Thrones' overly long list of dead characters. TV-Craster on the other hand is middle-aged, well-fed, relatively clean-cut, and seemingly had enough life in him to sire more daughters and wives into his twisted little family. Who Should€™ve Been Cast: Bill Nighy is known for bringing a eccentric flavor to the wide range of comedic and dramatic characters he's portrayed over the years. As Craster is meant to be incredibly unsavoury individual, Nighy would totally rock the part and bring so much more to the character.

My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem. Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh. You can follow me at @Fry_ying_pan but don't be offended if I don't tweet back. It's usually because I've spent too long trying to think up a witty response that the reply window has closed.
