Game Of Thrones: 10 Characters We Desperately Want To Survive Season Five

3. Cersei Lannister

Witnessing Cersei€™s fall from grace has been a thing of beauty, as she€™s gone from the most powerful woman in all of King€™s Landing to someone who's been forced to work her machinations from the shadows. She€™s no longer the apple of her son€™s eye; the newly crowned king has his sights set on a woman who fulfills his needs in much different ways €“ although considering Lannister family history it€™s not out of the realm of possibility to think Cersei would go there as well. Now that Tommen and Margaery have wed, the balance of power has shifted towards the new queen and Cersei has recruited the religious extremists known as the Sparrows to do her dirty work, including imprisoning Margaery€™s brother Ser Loras. This is going to result in a spectacular tug-of-war over who can manipulate the boy king the most effectively, and he€™s already shown signs of wanting to ship his mother back to Casterly Rock. It€™s impossible to fathom what Game of Thrones would be like without the former queen and her perpetual resting b*tch face constantly looking down upon the commoners, and without her father to bolster her standing she€™s no longer the threat she once was. It appears to be time we finally get to see Cerse Lannister pay some of those debts and get what€™s been coming her way for a long time.
