It's almost a sickly tribute to the number one pick that the Bolton bastard didn't reach the very top. Since appearing under mysterious circumstances in season three, Ramsay has been impossible to separate from Theon Greyjoy. Posing as a servant sent by his sister to rescue Theon, Ramsay soon revealed his true identity, torturing and mutilating his captive in spectacularly gruesome fashion. The fact viewers now feel sympathy for Theon, or Reek as he has been re-christened, indicates just how despicable he is. His betrothal to Sansa Stark can only be bad news, and already the games have begun, with Reek being paraded in front of her at every opportunity. He really is Joffrey 2.0 but since Sansa is a little older, and wiser, there is hope she'll survive this marriage as well. Now his legitimacy has been acknowledged by his father, and he is set for war with Stannis, he might be set for a sticky end fairly soon, but then some villains seem to have a talent for life preservation in George RR Martin's world.
