7. Karsi Gets Bombarded By White Walker Children

Oh Karsi, we hardly knew ye.

Though she was only in the show for about fifteen minutes in total, she certainly made an impact, if only for the gruesome death she suffered at the hands of the white walker's undead child minions at the end of the stellar Hardhome.

When she wished her two daughters farewell and told them she'd be right behind them once their boat set sail for the south of the wall, fans knew that it was highly unlikely that she'd be able keep her promise. She'd basically just committed a cardinal sin of horror movies.

So when the white walker's zombie burst through the doors and a group of undead children set their sights on Karsi, it turned out to be quite a particularly cruel way for the character to meet her end. She'd done her best to make sure her daughters would make it towards the Wall safely, only to get rushed and killed by victims of the white walkers that were probably her children's age.

Karsi likely expected to be taken out by the Rangers, or even the Thenn's, but to be killed by a group of zombie kids was something neither she or the audience expected.
