The Children of the Forest are the mystical race currently caught up with Bran beyond the Wall in the show, but there's an incredible amount we don't know about them yet, and while we know pieces about their history, it would be immense to see it in action. The First Men waged war with the Children, until the greater threat of the White Walkers obliterated huge swathes of both sides. However, they rallied together and united to push back the White Walkers into the north with their last ounce of strength, before the Children fled into hiding. The story could follow The Last Hero, the man who led both tribes to war against The Others, and could even skip around the centuries showing how the Wall was first formed.
