His coronation day become 1AC (After the Conquest) while all events previous would be BC (Before the Conquest). It was Aegon who changed the shape of the nation, and set about the modern times. Following his life could make for a stunning film, with so much rich material not even making it into George R.R. Martin's final books let alone the TV show. It would offer an insight on the Targaryens without relying on hearsay and Lannister/Baratheon propaganda.
