Game Of Thrones: 10 Reasons It’s The Best TV Show Ever

1. It Caters For A Society Increasingly Obsessed With Dystopia

Dystopian fiction has long been popular, with some of the past century's finest novels fitting into the category: The Handmaid's Tale, 1984 and Brave New World to name but a few. Clearly there's something appealing to Humans when it comes to imagining dystopian societies or the impending Armageddon, and this has never been truer in terms of film and television. With shows such as The Walking Dead and even Doctor Who more popular than ever, and films like The Hunger Games making a huge impact, there is definitely a dystopian trend currently taking place. With this fierce competition in mind, GOT is still undoubtedly the best of the lot. Considering its innumerable good qualities, aside from being a bleak dystopia where 'winter is coming', the show must already be considered one of the classics. It deals with politics and morality in a realistic fashion in an unrealistic setting, which for us Game Of Thrones fans, is perfection. Do you agree that Game Of Thrones is the greatest ever TV show?
