Game of Thrones: 10 Storylines So Boring They'll Put You To Sleep

2. Bran And His Three-Eyed Crow

It seems the show creators have heeded the advice of fans and left Bran out of Season 5, so we can all breathe a sigh of relief. It's not that Bran himself is dull, or that the storyline is either. There's no doubt Bran's greensight and ability to enter into the bodies of animals while he sleeps will have a decisive role to play in the Game of Thrones universe. Unfortunately, though, not for some time yet. This is one of the show's biggest problems: so many plates spinning at once, even when there's nothing interesting going on. Since Bran will have an important role to play later on, we've been obliged to keep checking in with him while he's wandering about up North. We were even less inclined to hang around with him once Jojen and Mera Reed show up. Jojen in particular is a total drag with nothing to offer other than exposition, and some assistance for Bran in controlling his powers that wasn't really necessary anyway. We're relieved when he is killed off. Hopefully Bran and others will have more to do once Season 6 rolls into view.
