8. The Wall Will Fall
Ever since Game Of Thrones began it's been fairly clear what the ultimate threat in Westeros is. Not Cersei, or Joffrey, or even Littlefinger, but the dreaded White Walkers, immortal beings that spread like an unstoppable, icy plague.
Each season the Walkers have been steadily encroaching like an inevitable sickness, and now it seems like they've almost arrived. The only thing that's stopping them is The Wall and its accompanying magic, which means in order for their threat to be realised, The Wall is going to have to fall.
As a narrative function, the Walkers serve no purpose unless they actually pose a threat to the world, so their breaching has to happen soon. Whether it'll occur near the start of the season or be reserved for the finale is hard to say, but The Wall is definitely coming down within the next batch of episodes.
As for how it'll happen, it's highly likely that Bran will be involved - after all, he's the one who is told by Benjen what's keeping the Walkers out, and he's carrying the Night King's mark - could passing across the wall with the mark be enough to bring it down?
