Game Of Thrones: 10 Times Fans Totally Overreacted To Book Changes

4. Daario’s Hair

There are a few legitimate complaints to be made about the show's depiction of Daario, particularly with the recasting of him. Some fans have argued that Daario should be far more cocky and arrogant, something the original actor captured but isn't really emphasized with the new Daario.

That's a fair criticism, and it can be argued that in this instance the show falls short of something that works well in the books. But here's something that really isn't really a fair criticism: the color of Daario’s hair.

In the books, Daario has long, curly hair that's died bright blue in addition to a blue beard. This is a common trait among men from Tyrosh. In the show, Daario just has normal, brown hair.

Honestly, though this type of thing is a fine detail from the book, giving the character bright blue hair on the show would probably just look silly. It would be one thing if the color of his hair was ever anything of particular importance, but it's always just been a minor detail, and changing it doesn't really effect anything at all.
