The finale of Season 2 saw a lot of the aftermath from the Battle of Blackwater Bay (more on that later, obviously) including Tywin's slick arrival to the Red Keep stage, and Daenerys' impressive navigation out of Qarth complete with money and her young dragons. Winterfell was torched, a troubling image for fans of the iconic city, while the White Walkers were yet again teased as they were shown marching, presumably towards The Wall. It was an ominous, epic scene that posed a greta reminder that everything below The Wall could be irrelevant if the icy demons breach it.
