Game Of Thrones' 15 Hardest Characters (And How Likely They Are To Survive)

8. Brienne Of Tarth

Game of Thrones Jaime and Bronn
HBO

The Lady of the sapphire isle is good at kicking some serious !*$% and has bested a varied array of enemy combatants. She bested Loras in single combat, forcing the canny warrior to yield. In direct contrast, she and the Hound put a fantastic beating on each other before she drops him down a hill! Not exactly a technical masterclass but Brienne has true grit.

Her downfall comes swiftly however when she opens her big, high-up mouth and swears oaths all over the place. She does more swearing than a Dornish sailor! These oaths get her into all sorts of trouble at almost every turn and one day they’ll no doubt be the death of her.

Being as ridiculously noble as she is she has narrowly avoided rape murder and bear mauling. What’s more surprising than her surviving in a bear pit with a wooden sword is the fact that she has not yet gotten Pod killed. Her friends or charges tend not to fare so well, though with the exception of poor old Renley they all tend to survive, even get her out of jams now and then.

She has Oath Keeper, one of the few Valyrian steel swords in Westeros so if she can stay alive until winter her stock may rise.

Chance Of Survival: 60%
